The unique VGX “Clamshell” Brake Pad Kit is available in both Ceramic and Semi-Metallic formulations. With 600+ different part numbers, the product line covers over 85% of the vehicles on the road today. All the necessary hardware to do a trouble-free brake job is included in the package. This includes: VGX Premium Pads with shims attached, a complete hardware kit and a tube of caliper grease. All components of these kits are clearly visible because they are shrink-wrapped on protective backer-board before being slid inside the informative graphic box.

The different pad formulations are denoted by their prefix:
• “VP….K” – Premium Ceramic – pads with hardware in a “clamshell” package
• “MF….K” – Metallic – pads with hardware in a “clamshell” package
